The purpose of the ENABLE project was to examine whether it is possible to facilitate independent living of people with dementia and to promote their well-being through access to enabling technological systems and products. Reports and scientific publications from the project include:

  • User requirements for products
  • Methodology for assessment of usefulness of assistive technology
  • Methodology for cost-benefit analysis
  • Results of the cost-benefit analysis
  • Use and usefulness of implementation of assistive technologies to people with dementia

ENABLE was supported by the European Commission under the “Quality of Life and Management of Living Resources” Fifth Framework Programme.
